Italy’s new slalom king, Giuliano Razzoli will be going all out for gold in the Winter Olympics taking place in Canada next month. He has a real chance of clinching a medal to cement his growing reputation on the alpine circuit.

I’ve already got my name down and my advice to you is put yourself forward and have a go, it will be one of the most memorable days of your life!

Lock, Stock and Improv: A Short Review

Lock, Stock and Improv, directed by Clare Stevenson was showing at the ADC Theatre. It makes you wonder why improvisation is used, despite the dangers of it going horribly wrong. After all it takes one idiot in the front row to spoil the show by answering ‘sex’ to every question. Phoenix Coyotes 09/10

What a season the Coyotes are having! At the start of this NHL season they were once again being written off, but, with more than half the season already over, they find themselves comfortable in the Play-Off positions in the Western Conference.

This is, in no small part, down to the recent draft picks from previous poor seasons, and the captaincy and leadership of Shane Doan. The Coyotes may not play with the style and finesse of the Chicago Blackhawks, (more…)

Edmonton Oilers Season 09/10

Well, well, well. What a season it has been for Edmonton’s finest. We in Alberta’s capital have been used to mediocrity for a while now, apart from that playoff run a few years back, and this season it has been more of the same.

From sloppy defense and a lack of creativity and passion to injuries, this has been a season to forget so far. Currently occupying the bottom of the NHL league, the Oiler’s only bonus this year is (more…)
