I Am Best

Monday, December 21st, 2009

Being overbearing and insecure has its advantages.

In the workplace, everyone needs to know where they fit in. Once you know where you rank in the pecking order you can just relax and get in with your job. It generally boils down to personality rather than job role or income, although these factors do have a bearing on a worker’s identity.

We establish these working relationships right from the start through subtle exchanges and interaction, even conflict sometimes. We are (more…)

As adults we know that our bodies require certain types of vitamins and nutrients in order to function. What many (more…)

Diana – the Conspiracy Theory Can’t Now Die

Saturday, December 19th, 2009

Why? Well simply because unless the Duke of Edinburgh had taken the stand to prove himself inept at personal relationships but innocent of being party to any conspiracy, the theory must remain. To have allegations that the Duke was in any way part of the situation and then for the powers that decide such things decide that he needn’t face his accusers questions in a court situation raises more questions than the silence answers in my opinion.

Another School Shooting - What's to Be Done?

America is reeling in shock from the recent tragedy on the Virginia Tech campus, where a single gunman – known to be a recluse with a strong interest in violence – took the lives of 32 innocent people before committing suicide.

The tragedy has also become political, with different factions coming up with ways to avoid similar slaughters in the future. Everything from banning violent computer games to tighter gun control laws has been suggested and debated.

Are There Such Things As Ghosts?

After I watched, ‘Paranormal Activity’ last night I was wondering what it would be like to live somewhere that was haunted. Pretty scary I should think!

I don’t actually believe in ghosts but at the same time I have no reason to disbelieve in them either… Who am I to know if they are real or not? A lot of people swear blind that they have seen a ghost and not everyone can be making it up… can they?
