The Fright of The Navigator.

Can you believe it? A few days ago Bob Dylan was in the news because he failed to be recognised by a Police Officer (who had also never even heard of him) and now he is in talks about being the new voice of Sat-Nav.

It really is a crazy world.

I am not sure if I can imagine the voice of Bob telling me which junction it is that I need to take on the M11. In one way it could be pretty cool I suppose, especially if I am headed for Positively 4th Street. It could have a more worrisome aspect though… If I accidently run over a rabbit on a country lane he might inform me of Blood on The Tracks. I would also be in constant fear when sitting in a traffic jam, of grizzled old Zimmy telling me that ‘there’s got to be some way outa here’.

Bob Dylan may seem like a strange choice to supply the voice for a Sat-Nav, but I can actually think of far worse performers to do the job. Have a think about some of the possibilities, it is actually quite amusing.
